A hypothetical situation:
After attending AU for a full-year with a 50% of financial aid, a student decides to take a semester off because of of XYZ reasons (i.e., family emergency, internship oppotunity, religious commitment, etc.). Does taking a leave of absence for a full semester (Fall or Spring) considerably decrease the following year’s financial aid, where the amount of grants outweigh the loans? Or does this not matter because every year all student applies for new finanical aid?
I’ve heard mixed opinions from people so I thought I’d ask.
