Does Brandeis meet 100% of financial need?
What about BU?
What about Umass Amherst?
Check their websites. That information will be there.
Check their websites…IIRC, Brandeis meets full need as they calculate that need to be.
BU and UMass definitely do not.
There is a net price calculator on each college website. Are your parents divorced? Do they own a business or are they self employed? Do they own real estate in addition to your primary residence? Are you an international student? If no to all of those, run the net price calculators for the colleges and get an estimate if your net costs at each college.
BU does now claim to meet full need (as they calculate it) - this is a new policy announced last summer.
All colleges that meet full need it is their calculation of your need, not what you want to pay.
Good news bout BU.
I still say…do the net price calculator. That will give you a decent estimate of your net costs at all of these colleges…unless you answer yes to one of the questions I posted above.
As noted, even with schools that meet full need for all accepted students, there can be many thousands of dollars in difference in their net costs. Every school has their own calculations.
