Financial Aid

I want to go to JHU, and I think I have a pretty good chance, so I plan on doing ED.

The thing is, my parents are not expecting to be paying for the entire tuition. They make around $150,000/year combined. Am I even eligible for scholarships or grants (NOT LOANS) with that kind of parental income??

I'm fully Hispanic if that means anything.

thank you,
ansar

Answer the question yourself … use the Financial Aid Calculator on the JHU Office of Financial Services’ Web Site:

[JHU Possible Aid Estimator](<a href=“Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University”>Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University)

Ansar, Try the calcuators on the below website, if you want to keep your financial info private until you are ready to apply to JHU.
[FinAid! Financial Aid, College Scholarships and Student Loans](http://www.finaid.org)
My D was accepted to Johns Hopkins and given a fairly decent FA package and our income was apporx. the same as your parents. She was a very good candidate, top ranked in her class and also an URM.

Just to note, if you use the JHU Possible Aid Estimator (<a href=“Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University)%5B/url%5D”>Student Financial Support | Johns Hopkins University), you are not entering any personal information (such as name, address, SS#) and the financial aid office is not tracking any of the information you are entering. The information is PRIVATE and not recorded in any way.

The FinAid! site is helpful but it is general. Since JHU is a private institution, our financial aid calculator is created to compute how fin. aid packages are computed at Hopkins.
