Financial aid

Is there other paper work I have to fill out for financial aid or do I just send in collegeboard's CSS profile.

NYU does not use CSS only FAFSA.

i had made a similar post a while ago, im confused a bit now…then what schools go on the css profile?

i saw on their website if your applying to universities in ny you also have to fill out a tap application? or does tap take the information from the fafsa form

Only schools that say they require CSS go on CSS profile. If they do not require it then I don’t think you can even send it to them. And if you can you are wasting your time and your money.

TAP is for NY residents only
[Financial Aid: Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)](http://www.bmcc.cuny.edu/finaid/grants/tap.html).

If you are a NY resident you have to do FAFSA and TAP, though TAP can take some info from FAFSA.

I am not from NY but this info is easy to find. Google is your friend.
