Okay, so I am very confused about what NCF needs as far as financial aid materials go, and the school is a bit slow in answering my harrassing emails (: The school website lists an awful lot of links to forms and such, but I am still confused as to what they need. Is it just FAFSA? Do they need 2008 tax returns and W-2s? Etc?

Plus, when will we be hearing about financial aid? I got my acceptance letter a short time ago, but the letter mentioned absolutely nothing about any financial aid...

P.S. College Confidential is a life-saver (:

alright, strike that, i just finished an email exchange with the aid office, and no, they don't need anything else unless they explicitly say so.

and in happy news, i just got a letter saying i'm getting $10,000 a year. but my question is this: if i move to florida after freshman year and become a florida resident, will i still get $10,000 a year regardless of the fact that that'll basically completely cover the cost of in-state tuition and room & board, or do they then re-evaluate their offer?

Generally speaking, financial aid is redone every year. Additionally, I don't know how Florida works, but most states won't let you become a resident if you're attending college there as out of state.

FAFSA is all that is required. To become a resident of Florida for instate tuition, you would have to withdraw for a year, live in FL, and then resume/ reapply as in-state. NCF is generous with merit money that is given to OOS even when no FAFSA is filed but with FAFSA you can often get work-study and make a bit more money per hour at a campus job than you would if you had a non work-study job. Hope that helps.
