I’m still going but it sucks…

Wow, I am really lucky. I received a $22,000 grant from Pepperdine in addition to Pell Grants and my Cal Grant. About $10,000 is in loans. That’s all I have to pay back.
I feel so blessed.

There is quite a variety of workstudy programs on campus. My D has worked at the Art Museum for 3 years as a greeter. Basically does her homework and welcomes anyone who comes through the door:)

Thanks JC*
I was offered $3,000 for workstudy. I’ll only do it if the job won’t impose on my homework/study time. It sounds good though.

so I got about 40,000 in grants…but I’m guessing this is an estimate? because I have not turned in verification or my parents’ tax forms…

greenbirrd- I received the same. I called the office of financial assistance, and they said it’s an estimate, but if you accurately filled out your FAFSA, then it’s very close to what you’ll be receiving.

Hey gwu_girl,
When you called did you happen to ask if the same amount of aid is typically given each year of attendence?

marebella, from my understanding, Pepperdine’s aid is the same for all four years. Federal grants and such might change though.
