<p>I was considering applying ED to Barnard but I am definitely going to have to be looking at financial aid and I can’t seem to get a whole lot of information from Barnard’s site… is their aid department seperate from Columbia’s and everything? Sorry if I seem sort of clueless…</p>
<p>Yes, Barnard has a completely independant financial aid/admissions department from Columbia. I have heard differing opinions about how "good" they are with FinAid. My d will be starting Barnard in a couple of weeks. The fin aid they provided was decent (though I have little to compare it to). If finances will be a determing factor, I recommend NOT doing early admission. If you think you can attend regardless, I DO recommend it!</p>
