So I just got my financial aid, and it's amazing!!! Way better than anywhere else, including NYU (their's is horrible for everyone, apparently) and Tulane (where I got a 26k/year scholarship!)

For USC, I'll only have to have loans of about 10k/year!!! My expected family contribution is 0, and my income bracket is 25k.

Considering USC costs about 54k per year, I think 10 in loans is really good. This made my decision for me... I'm almost definitely going to USC!!!

Did anyone else get their financial aid today?

Congrats, Sabrina. We are sorry to lose you at Tulane, but USC is fantastic and you are right, that is a great FA package. Have a wonderful and successful 4 years, and stay well.

Thanks!
Tulane would have been great, too. I was having such a hard time deciding… but the FA is just too good at USC.
congrats to everyone going to USC and Tulane :-)

Congrats SabrinaFairChild!
I was wondering: did you submit everything on time? and is it possible for you to tell how much scholarship/university grants you received?

nilufer, as I am sure you are aware, the amount of scholarship/grant money sabrina was awarded is in no way indicitive of the amount you might get, because they used sabrina’s CSS/Profile to calculate hers, and they will use *your CSS/Profile *to calculate yours.

I am sure it is very stressful to have to wait for your package - I hope it is enough when it finally is available. Good luck.

my university grant is 27k/year
university scholarship of 8k/year
pell grant 6k/year
federal seog 2k/year
work study 2500
federal loans 5500
other loans 4500/year

nilufer: I got everything in on time, then USC asked me for two more documents since my parents are divorced. I got my aid friday, april 23

as I said, expected family contribution was 0 and income is 25k… I only have one parent supporting me

I hope you get good enough aid!
