I'm wondering where you can view the financial aid that Santa Cruz gives you in the my.ucsc.edu portal.

Also, if you qualified for any Cal Grants, do they give the money to you or the school?

Click My Student Center (left side). Scroll down and click on View Financial Aid or Accept/Decline Awards.

Hey guys…after i clicked into my portal and the Financial Aid or Accept/Decline Awards…i only saw the UC grant…does it means i dont have Cal grant?

Well if its not on your Financial Aid page on the portal then you should talk to the Financial Aid office at UCSC and see what they can do about that.

sweetxsimple: Any financial aid in your account is first applied to any outstanding charges you have. If your financial aid is greater than your charges, then the extra is refunded to you.

However, there is an exception with Cal Grant B. If you are receiving this one, you will receive the “Cal Grant B Access” part directly (the school will either mail you a check or will direct deposit it into an account that you indicate on your portal).
