<p>Did anyone receive their financial aide letter this weekend?</p>

<p>My son recieved his and even after completing the FASFA we were told no aide. The good news is Rice is 10,000 less than comparable schools and he did receive 2 scholarships but we thought we might get a little aide based on what we completed. Do they subtract the scholarships first and then figure your aide? Anyone know?</p>

<p>Rice is a great school and well worth the investment. It's nice that they have a payment plan.</p>

<p>Rice finds aid first and then subtracts scholarships. In my case they took away grant money if I received any scholarships.</p>
