financial engineering

heya

i dont think this question has been answered but does cornell have an undergraduate program for financial engineering or is it only a masters? If it doesnt have an undergraduate program, then what major is there if I want to do finance?

Either way, which school is it in? I'm not sure if it would be in CALS or in the Engineering college

thanks

Cornell has a masters in FE. As an undergrad though, if you want to study FE you major in operations research and concentrate within FE.

thanks a lot

the only problem is that while i was doing my common application online, when it asked for what major after i did the college of engineering, financial engineering didnt come up... any suggestions?

You would apply under ORIE.

thanks

found it and applying now :D

cornell doesnt have undergrad FE. Just BS in OR. you have the option at the grad level to do a 3-semester "FE option" in MS OR
