Hey guys! I'm a junior at a prep school. I'm not too educated on the spectrum of colleges and universities out there, so I was wondering what schools you think may be good fits for me, considering the following information:

I...
-am a hard worker and take academics very seriously (I have mostly As; I haven't taken the official SATs yet, but I expect to get 2200+; I take/will take/have taken around 8 APs)
-cannot do sports fo shizz (but I try anyway)
-consider myself creative and friendly
-participate in my school community
-am an URM and love diversity
-am open-minded (not sure if I'd go as far to say that I'm liberal, though)
-am interested in pursuing film -- if not, then I have no idea what I'd study

I would prefer schools that have...
-a lively school spirit
-an interesting location (perhaps in or near a metropolitan area)

I'm open to both large universities and liberal arts colleges. Let's just say money isn't an issue, since I know I'd never qualify for financial aid anyway.

Until now I've looked mainly at Ivies (namely Yale, Columbia, and Brown), though from an academic standpoint; now I'm taking a look at living conditions and campus life. If I do pursue film, USC, NYU, Yale, and Columbia are the best (right?) -- but how much will they take my academic and non-film-related achievements into account in the admissions process? I only fell in love with film less than a year ago, so I don't have too much of that to back me up.

Tell me what you think!!! Thank you! :)
