Hey guys. I am not sure if this is the best spot to put this type of thread, but seems like it is in the general area. Well I am a senior in high school and wanted some feedback on schools that have a wide variety of facilities for students who are taking pre-med courses and want to go to medical school. Facilities like: a lot of research opportunities, good pre-med advisers, internships, easy access to hospital volunteering, and shadowing.

I want your guys feedback on schools that are GOOD schools for pre-med, which show a HIGH med school acceptance rate and easy access to research (probably privates?).

I know that I should go to the school that will be the best for ME, but I just want some feedback on this.

On my list I added Duke and Northwestern, both of which I am 90% sure I won't get in, so I need schools that I am more likely to get accepted into.

6.) Internship held for the city - did grassroot work with the community; was very involved with hands on experience in the community. Learned a lot from the experience.
7.) Part of a program that promotes civic engagement (took a lot of this too)

College Essays: They will be good. They will be personal and about my experiences in various places. I have a mentor and Stanford Graduate who is the manager of the program I am a part of and who knows me very well writing my Letter of R (Do you know if you can replace a teacher rec with an adviser; probably not though right? So should I take her LOR off).
