lmao whoops im on my friend's account. this wasn't supposed to go here. sorry! I'll repost again.

If you live at all near the suburbs where there are youth soccer leagues, you can get a very good paying side job as a referee. You will have to take a daylong class or two and pass a test to get a license, but as a center ref- one can make easily about 50-70 dollars per game reffing kids atleast 16 years old or so. That can add up to a few hundred dollars per weekend. The only drawback is that it is somewhat stressful, especially with people yelling at you and such, and you should know a thing or two about the game.

waiting tables can make really good money, but you have to get in at a good restaurant which either takes experience or knowing someone that already works there. i know a few people who wait tables at fairly popular places and they take home an average of $100 a night in tips

Yeah. Country Clubs are great places to beocme waiters at, although they tend to only hire girls for those jobs…hire the guys to be caddies, where the tips are much poorer, and the work much worse.

stop buying things you can’t afford

I’m a lifeguard and the pay is great. The cert classes are around 300 bucks themselves tho, and u need some decent ability in that area. The job is ridic laid back and social in the summer, but indoor winter jobs tend to suck.

I work at a mid-tier restaurant that has $15-20 plates, and although I was bringing in some nice money earlier on, this economy is really preventing people from spending that much money. Whereas I could make over $200 in one weekend (2 nights of work) now it takes me about 4 nights to get that same amount.

But hey, I’m so thankful to have a job, and it’s still working out better than other jobs I could have right now.

Mail carriers actually start out at a decent wage. But it might be difficult to get a job in that (because times are hard right now, and people don’t send mail like they used to), and if you hate walking, then it’s definitely not for you. However, UPS or FedEx could be a nice alternative.

Bartenders can make up to $500 a DAY, depending on where you work/what you’re started at/how much you earn in tips. However, you have to be willing to do it, find a bar that’s willing to train you, and girl tends to be hired more often than guys but no matter what your gender you better be hot. You also have to like people and like talking. So basically, good looks + great talker + great sense of humor + good memory = successful bartender.

Working in life insurance is also a lucrative, easy job to handle. All you have to do is be very persuasive, take an exam to get a license, and that’s about it. When it comes to selling, you usually sell whenever YOU want to, so your schedule is extremely flexible. A perfect company that’s an example of this is Aflac (y’know, the duck?). If you consider this, they’re definitely one of the first places you should check out.

I hope that helped. ^_^
