How do you find good scholarships? Do you hear about them or do you search online for them?

My school has a family connections website with an ample variety of scholarships to choose from. If your school doesn;t offer it, either ask your counselor for any scholarships that may fit in your interest or visit fastwebs.com
if you’re looking for more of the huge scholarships that give full rides and such, fastwebs isnt the place for you. Those are directly from the university you choose.

Miss Lana is right…

if you need good-sized merit scholarships, then private scholarships will not likely work for you because they’re often for small amounts and only for one year.

If you need merit money, then apply to some SCHOOLS that give them.

edited to add…

I see that you’re a transfer student…that’s going to make finding scholarships a bit harder.

All of my scholarships came from my school. Try your school first.

First resource should be your counselor. I applied for many private scholarships and the only ones I won were local/counselor recommended. Private scholarships have massive pool of applicants and aren’t worth much anyway, though feel free to search online for them anyway.
