Finished my superday this afternoon and am beat. Five 45 minute interviews was crazy draining. I'll give some more details after I get some rest........

Please do.

First off, I was thoroughly impressed with the building and the setup overall of the bank. Everyone I met seemed really nice and very willing to help out all of the candidates. Now for the stuff everyone cares about. We met our recruiters at 4:30 in a restuarant at the bottom of the building. This was just an opportunity to meet with the people who would be interviewing us the next day. Once again, everyone was very nice and also very candid. They mentioned that after receiving around 400 applications that they were very impressed by the resumes and interviews of the 20 people they brought down for the final rounds and wished they could take all of us.

After the meet and greet we went out to dinner with the current analysts. I’m glad they did this because it was a lot easier to talk to the analysts about their day to day activities, and to find out what to expect during interviews. We finished dinner and went back to the hotel. Since we had to meet at 7:40 the next day, and be checked out beforehand, I woke up at about 5:30 and got ready. We had a light breakfast with all of the directors, associates, VP’s ect. before our interviews.

My first interview was with a director. It was actually a pretty laid back interview. He told me about what he does and his background. Then he wanted to know about my story. Best advice I can give, have a story of why you majored in finance/econ/whatever and chose the school you did, they really seemed to respond when I mentioned my dad was a small business owner and have always been interested in business development. I didn’t get any technical questions but he did ask me about an industry that I’m interested in in an investing since and we spoke about gold mining for a little bit. Finally he asked me to tell him something about my self that’s not on my resume, and I told him that I’m a fitness enthusiast, and we were able to relate because he does crossfit. So first one down, four more left.
