finishing active duty

I finish my contract next June so I'm starting to apply for the fall 2014. I had a overall gpa of 2 unweighted and my act was 23. I think my sat was around a 1050 I can't really remember that one. I really want to go to ole miss and my grades weren't the best but will being an oef vet help my chances of getting accepted?

can anyone chance me?

Ole Miss: Match

Perhaps if you could then retake either the SAT or the ACT (for 24+/1100+ CR+M) and U Missouri could become a safety.

Sorry, but with those stats, Ole Miss is out of reach for you (MAYBE a high reach). Maybe try some other state schools or community colleges.

Best of luck! :)

Is Ole Miss really a place teeming with non-trad applicants that have just finished tours of duty in the armed forces?

can you explain to me why it’s a reach? I have. 3.0 weighted and I was thinking that since I have my post 9/11 gi bill which will cover all costs. I also talked to the veteran advisor and he said that I should apply and if I get in I would get in state because of the military

oh and I also applied to mizzou, bama, and South Carolina (I’m not expecting this one at all. I just applied for the heck of it because my sister goes there)

I actually just found my act scores and instead of a 23 I got a 25 on my composite scote

Now you’ve got at least Mizzou to start the college process with… auto-admits at Mizzou start at 24 composite.

Ole Miss: Low match (now that you mention that you have a 3.0 weighted)
UMO: Safety
Alabama: Match/High match
U South Carolina: Reach (high match if legacy is counted)
