First AP!

It's my junior year of high school and....I'm only taking one AP, which is AP Chemistry. Does anyone have any tips in succeeding or about the exam?? I'm extremely nervous that I will do bad, even though I aced both semesters of Honors Chemistry.

Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!

The way I look at APs: You don't have to do well. If you do, great, if you don't, don't sweat it.

Study; I concur. I had 3 the first time; it really burns you out quickly. Use Barron's.

Tip:

1.) Study
2.) Study more
3.) Study all you can

Follow Procedue 1 to 3, and you are bound to succeed.

Compared to the other AP's I've taken, Chemistry was pretty easy. Keep up with the homework, study for the tests, and you should do fine. Use the prep books mainly as sources of practice questions. Don't try to use a method the book reccommends if it's different from your teacher's because it will probably just confuse you.

Were you taking regular chemistry?

Thanks everyone! I took Honors Chem last year and now Ap this year (to post above)

Ooh, I was the same exact way, only took one, chemistry in fact, my first time around as a junior, and I actually had to self study it so if you have even an average teacher you should be fine, so good luck with that. :D

Make sure you keep up with it first semester. If you do, you'll do fine second (and on the test - 4 to 5). If you dont, you'll be really struggling second and be lucky to get a 3.
