First day of school

<p>When is the first day of classes at Binghamton? Does anyone recommend a certain day to move in before classes start?</p>

<p>Classes begin on August 31st and generally freshman move in the Thursday before that. It allows you to get to know other freshman for 2 days before upperclassmen return to the dorms. You should get information about that during orientation and over the summer via emails.</p>
