if there are any other programs that i have a shot at, plz mention them as i really need to add more to my list. thanks a ton :)

You need a lot more medical EC's to be considered into a lot of these.

yea i know, i just get the feeling that it's too late. cuz app's are due Dec. 1 and there's not much i can add in that time. i don't even know of anything that i can add...

Need more Medical ECs. You can add shadowing few doctors.

Highlight your medical ECs when you apply. You have a pretty good chance at TCNJ/UMDNJ.

PM me if you have any questions as you move along in the process. I am an TCNJ/UMDNJ (NJMS) parent.

By the way, you still have all of Summer to boost up your medical ECs. I agree with MiamiDP. If you can add doc-shadowing, that would be a plus.

i don't know. maybe. maybe not. we'll see.

yea i'm currently shadowing a cardiologist this week, then he goes on vacation next week. but next week i'll be shadowing an oncological surgeon. so hopefully i can get a decent amount of shadowing before august is up.

thanks for all the help guys!

Yup, shadowing is definitely something you should be doing. Volunteering at the hospital some more would help also. Make sure you can talk about your experiences from both in essays/interviews. Community service not related to medicine is a plus also. To be honest, your EC are very, very weak. You haven't done much. Nothing of what you have done sticks out or shows a clear passion/commitment. Like you said, it is too late to thoroughly fix the problem, but the above thoughts should help a bit. Just know, realistically, that you will have an upward battle in that area. Also, your SAT I is not amazing, but shouldn't hinder you, especially if you can raise it to the 2250. What is your class rank, so we have a better idea of your GPA? Your GPA seems a bit inflated by "non-academic" classes like gym, health, and band. Your sophomore year seems especially dubious.

ehhh, if you improve your ec's id say you have a good shot at instate ones.

my school doesn't calculate class rank but i'm def. top 10% maybe top 5% if i'm lucky

more or better quality of medical ec's needed...yeah the SAT should be higher, then you'll have decent chance
