<p>Do you think Yale would consider first quarter grades for EA if I have them sent? Our quarter just ended on Friday, and my grades are really solid. </p>
<p>I don't want to annoy them by making my application thicker or anything.</p>

<p>If they boost your application by showing a strong performance with harder classes, why not? You can't annoy them... that's their job to receive applications and updates.</p>
<p>Apparently you only send if they ask... they probably aren't going to give you much of a tip on information they didn't request from everyone. First quarter grades tend to be a little low as well, so they'd hardly be as good an indicator as junior year grades or a senior midyear report.</p>
<p>However, I'd seriously doubt that they'd hurt.</p>
