First Semester GPAs!

3.7! all because of one B =(

Does any one else feel like this is just a huge circle jerk thread with everyone bragging about their GPAā€™s a la CC style yet again?

4.0 this semester, 3.86 cumulative (because of a frigginā€™ B+ from Chem I took in high school!).

I love how people try to justify anything less than a 4.0.

ā€œI love how people try to justify anything less than a 4.0.ā€

Couldnā€™t have said it better myself. Like honestly why the hell would any of you care what some anonymous personā€™s first semester GPA is? And why would anyone else care about yours?

3.9, donā€™t know how you can think this semester was that hard.

if you donā€™t care, donā€™t open the threat or post in itā€¦ but let other people participate as they would likeā€¦

I made an A- average, which is good by me. Some of my friends got screwed over by bad professors, but mine were all helpful, so I suppose I got lucky.

Maybe we should also include the colleges we are attending? Because a 4.0 at Cornell seems much better then a 4.0 at Montclair or something.

:)

Notre Dame.

I care about other peopleā€™s GPAs a lot more than I care about your condescending opinion on it.

Johns Hopkins Medical School (Brain surgery program)

I go to NYU and I have a cumulative 3.86 GPA. This semester I got 2 Aā€™s and 2 A-'s, which is a 3.85. But next semester, my classes are so much easier, so Iā€™m relieved!

lol que

ā€¦

Condescending much?

But yeah, this is ridiculous. Nobody. Cares.

Iā€™m not being condescending, Iā€™m just utterly incredulous. I donā€™t understand the need to anonymously post your GPA on the internet. Iā€™m guessing itā€™s the ego boost for most people considering some of you sound like you enjoy getting off to your first semester transcript, but beyond that I canā€™t see how a thread like this gets to four pages.

No one cares what your GPA is.

No one is impressed that you got a 4.0.

You freshmen need to grow up and stop bragging about GPAs. You guys arenā€™t in high school anymore.

Wow. Talk about some bad news bears.

Personally, I like to see other people succeed. Itā€™s nice to know people get paid off for their hard work. I like to realize that other people do struggle and itā€™s okay to struggle. If someone is really excited about getting a certain GPA and thereā€™s a thread for it, then whatā€™s wrong with them posting it? This is, after all, College Life. A big part of College Life is trying to maintain that GPA that ā€œno one caresā€ about.

Youā€™re taking something fairly innocent and simple and making something bad come out of it. If you donā€™t care what other peopleā€™s GPAā€™s are or you donā€™t want to post yours, then just move along from the thread. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to post here or read here.
