<p>About how important are the first marking period grades relative to early decision admission at Brown? I’m sure not having all A’s won’t be deathly, but at the same time I’m not the strongest candidate to begin with, so i was just wondering how they’d factor in the fact that i improved in comparison to past grades.</p>
<p>There's no rubrik that tells you some percentage they're factored in so I'll say what I say about most questions about the application process:</p>
<p>They'll see them, they'll know what they are, and they'll consider them.</p>
<p>my gc said they won't see my 1st quarter grades at all.</p>
<p>mid year report shows them.</p>
