Villanova University

University of Pittsburgh
Vanderbilt University
Johns Hopkins Univ.
Tulane University

Also if you could give me tips on other colleges that I should look into it would be great. Also anything I should try to accomplish in the near future.

P.S. I would just like to thank you guys for taking the time to actual read this (extremely long) chances thread. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

In Tulane, Pitt, Xavier, NJ, Rollins. Work on your SATs for the others. Your ECs are great.

You actually did the Whos Who thing? Vanderbilt/JHU are reaches.

Yep. It wasn't hard they just selected me and I accepted it. Yeah, but I heard that Vanderbilt really likes to admit National Achievement students. Maybe I'll get lucky?

Just so you know, not to discredit your accomplishments, because being a National Achievement Semi-finalist is great - but the Who's Who program carries little, if any significance.

Who's who is worth nothing. Colleges might even look down on you for doing it (although I doubt they'll go that far).

Look down on you for accepting????

Well, I don't think it will hurt my apps. I mean its an award; at worst they'll ignore it. Anyway, how about some chances? Thanks guys.

Any reason your GPA is so low? Great profile apart from that.

[bump] keep the college chances coming. Thanks alot guys.

Anyone can be in Who's Who if they pay money. That's why colleges see it negatively.

Why do you have 2 scores next to your AP scores? Are they tentative, retaken, etc?

It means I scored a 5 out of 5 in Biology, and a 4 out 5 in Literature. I did not pay any money to get in Who's Who.

Oh, and can we please get off of the Who's Who subject? It really does not make that big of a difference.

CC is a nitpicky place. Welcome!

Anyways, I'm only a mere senior (aka mortal), so take my words with a grain of salt. Your ECs are good, but also a bit widespread. Try condensing them into where your passions lie; focus is key (sniper rifle > shotgun long distance)

If you are instate for the NJ schools, you're in. No questions asked. If you're out-of-state, you're probably still in.

AA might help you with some of these schools, but to be honest these are not the uber-competitive ones that CC talks about all the time. SATs are in-range while GPA is certainly not. JHU might be a reach. Maybe Villanova too. Otherwise, I can't see why all of these aren't matches.

thanks enderkin, always looking for more input!
