First week feedback?

<p>In the two very few short conversations I have had with my D since move-in nearly two weeks ago, she sounds extremely happy. The social adjustment to college life seems to be going very well (lots of new friends, getting along great with roommate, having a lot of fun, etc). Only heard about her first class so far and it was “good”. If she was calling all the time, then I would be worried but she sounds terrific. I hope that the academic transition is going as smoothly. </p>

<p>What are other freshmen parents hearing so far?</p>

<p>Same here, our son doesn’t call, to complain or otherwise. I’m taking that as a good sign. Some classes he loves others not so much. The social scene is not an issue, as he apparently is getting along very well with his roommate, and has found his “group”. Any FaceTime conversations we’ve had he’s had a smile on his face. I’m quite relieved.</p>
