So I've heard that Ursinus has one of the top-ranked first-year programs in the nation, but I was wondering what was actually so unique about it. They talk about freshman clustering which is the option to live with freshmen or upper termers, and freshmen seminars that are held in dorm lounges so it's a relaxed environment. Is there more to this that I'm not understanding?

The unique thing about their first year program is the CIE program which is mandatory for all freshman and includes them all in having the same experiance in at least one class. It is something that allows everyone to have something to talk about though not always enjoyable.
