Fisher College vs CoB at UIUC. Need help!

Hey guys I need a little help in deciding between Ohio State or University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. These two are the top of my list and I have been accepted into both Fisher College and the College of Business at UIUC.

A little background information:
-I’m OOS from Virginia.
-OSU has offered me 48k in total scholarships (12k per year) vs none from UIUC

What is everybody’s opinion? Which school is more prestigious overall and more well-known to recruiters and companies? Along with factoring in my financial situation, which one should you choose if you were me?

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

If you can afford it and there is a huge deciding factor towards UIUC, then go to UIUC. Otherwise, OSU is a great school. Fisher is an amazing school with amazing facilities and the 50K in scholarships should be the tipping point. I’m an OOS engineering major and I got a lot of scholarship money. I also got into UT-Austin, which has a (somewhat) more prestigious engineering program. I turned down UT for OSU and it was the best decision that I ever made!

Business Week ranks undergraduate business programs, and in their 2013 rankings, OSU is 34th in the nation, and Illinois is 21st. Both are good programs, and you would probably have a great experience at either. I’m a senior finance major at Fisher if you have any questions about the program or OSU in general.

I do recommend limiting the amount of student loans you’ll need, if that is part of how you’ll be paying for college.
