If they’re going to really mail them that late, it’d be nice if they sent emails beforehand to the accepted students.
The school website has a few things up in regards to the fall 2017 entering class. Housing move in dates are also posted as well.
There two day April 22nd ( for business majors) and April 23rd ( art majors)
What do you do at Admitted Student’s Day, exactly? And if it’s absolutely necessary to attend, there’s no way they can send those letters out that late. There’s flights that have to be booked, hotel rooms rented, and of course the whole process of asking for time off from work.

I don’t think it is mandatory. As I read on, I think its more so for 2 year freshman students. It’s just more information on the school and stuff. Seems like more expanded info from the tour I went on in September. Idk if I would go ( if admitted of course). Most likely it will be parents and their kids attending the event.
Hopefully letters go out soon though. I can imagine the hassle on such short notice to get to NYC for those that live far away.
Or already making their way through the mail as we type!

I was just with my guidance counselor, We called admissions and asked if there was a decision made on my application and she said there was and I will know by the first week of April, so that first week the letters will be sent out. I was so nervous I’m shaking just typing this. The lady was so sweet on the phone, I just couldn’t tell by the sound of her voice if i was accepted or not, she sounded up beat and she said my address that it will be sent but idk at this point!! So stay tuned people they’ll be sent out very soon. Good luck to you all!
Also according to someone on the Facebook page apparently there has been confirmation of some acceptance letters being out.
I just called FIT admissions about my application status and she told me they would be sending out letters the first week of April!!
I’m on the group me and I saw that a few people got there letters. I saw at least one image of a letter.
If you are not accepted do they send a rejection letter or you just don’t get one at all?

im new to this forum but ive been keeping up with all the posts… im from sc but im sooooo hoping I get into this school! has anyone else gotten a letter back stating they were accepted?
I have only heard of people hearing about other people getting accepted but i havent heard from the actual accepted students lol
However, my financial aid initial review changed from pending to completed and now the final financial aid review now says waiting to be reviewed!! This is so exciting

I GOT IN AS AN OUTATANDING APPLICANT AND WAS NOTIFIED EARLY! Also the honors program with a $1,000 stipend.
