Has anyone that applied for Fin aid have their checklist go beyond the initial review yet?

Hello, My son applied to Fashion design, freshman he is an international student, he called admissions office today and was told that letters will arrive by April 1 and international student maybe a couple of days after that. He asked about emails an was told that only by mail and That applications were still being reviewed.

previous years, international students seemed to receive their letters first!
The anxiety is too much. Mines still hasn’t been reviewed I checked.

According to someone on a Facebook forum I’m in, a person from admissions told them that the letters will be mailed out Monday.

If they’re mailed out by this coming Monday, then their April 1 claims would be incorrect for receiving your letter by then. Most people would be waiting days past that date. It takes, at minimum, 3-7 business days to mail and receive an item. Which means that you don’t count Saturdays or Sundays in that day count. This is so annoying.
Hmm… a lot of people will receive late letters this year. From what I have read on past forums, the decision letters are sent out in batches. Waiting until next Monday (if that is the case and not the past Monday), does not seem practical. All we can do it wait I guess. Accepted students day is April 22nd this year, a bit later than usual is something I’ve noticed as well.
Crazy that no one, not even the early acceptance emails for outstanding students have gone out from my understanding.
@Pankobreading - how did you find out abut accepted students day 2017? And is there just one?
