Is it possible to have gotten in even if you didn’t receive the packet yet?? I am soooo nervous omg. My hope is diminishing really fast. I live in Long Island NY btw and I know other people in NY got their letter. Please let me know what you guys think?
@junebug815 don’t give up hope yet! I’m also on Long Island (Suffolk) and haven’t gotten anything, I think mostly the tri-state area got theirs first (most likely bc they are the closest to Manhattan) we should get ours some time in the next few days! Hang in there!!
@Rialynn212 Omg thank you so much!!! That makes me feel so much better!!! Fingers crossed for both of us ?
Did anyone get rejected?
I think rejected people receive notification later.
Based on the comments posted last year, the first packets started showing up March 26, and people were still receiving acceptances/rejections up through April 10 (and even later, for some people). They don’t send all the decisions out at the same time – they seem to have several rounds of mailings over a period of a couple of weeks. It will be a while before everyone hears back…
Does anyone know what determines an Outstanding Applicant?
@jerseygirl1801 I think that an OA is someone who has taken AP classses or has college credits. I could be wrong
Okay thank you! @misung2056 My application says “Freshman Advanced Standing” because of my AP credits. Has anyone else who has “Freshman Advanced Standing” also not heard back?
where does your application say “freshman advances standing”???
I have that and I haven’t heard back yet
Based on your academic transcript, the status of your academic progress is NOT YET REVIEWED…
Anyone else with this still?
@DFashionista Yes, I believe everyone has that. The only difference between everyone is the Cost of Attendance price.
I think international students don’t have the COA. Do you know when will they receive their decision?
@kmalin go to application status, and then it will be next to Admission type
When I called FIT they said earliest anyone other than the Presidential Scholars should expect the decision is by the 28th. Good luck everyone!!
any out of state applicants get anything yet?
@aquahaley Looks like one person as far as Maryland as got their packet. But mostly NY, NJ and PA. We’re in Maryland so hopefully, my daughter gets her’s today.
when i try to visit my site map i get an error telling me that my session has timed out, and i also can’t get to my financial aid checklist
My kid’s COA just updated this morning. Not a guarantee of anything, but at least a sign that she’s moving through the process…
