I’m an international applicant living in America for high school. Does anyone know if I will receive the envelope here or get the email first and get the envelope in my home country? I’m just curious to know. The wait is killing me!!!
ok! i got into my account and my COA is still at 0, but under it it says “Based on your academic transcript, the status of your academic progress is NOT YET REVIEWED as of FALL 2018,” does everyones say that?
I can’t speak for everyone but mine does too but my COA does have a #.
How do you navigate to get to the COA?
have any transfers from the midwest heard back ?
Been reading all the User Posts, for awhile…stressing like everyone too… thank you all for being there! Hopefully my info will help some of you to remain HOPEFUL! My daughter received her Acceptance Package today for Fashion Design AAS and the Presidential Scholars Program. We are from the other coast - CA! Her application never ever changed on her initial information and we always had errors whenever we tried to click on the Financial Aid Checklist. We never saw the COA…Nothing led up or hinted to the actual package that arrived today.
Even still, her Application status has not changed online; however, the Financial Aid Checklist is now unlocked.
Good luck to everyone and please don’t lose hope, as I ultimately believe now there’s no strict pattern as to the order of receipt on acceptances or what all the other things online really mean since it is not consistent! I am hoping all of your dreams come true too, as they did for my daughter:) Thank you!
hey guys! I’m an international student but I gave my uncle’s address in ny and they got the letter yesterday. I was selected as an outstanding applicant in fashion design. my letter was dated 19 March.
Hey guys I am an international student but have not received any letter yet. Are we given a decision by email as well? Or only by a letter??
@hailey0605 both first you’ll get an email then they’ll send the package
@stacydessa Oh i thought I would get the package first and then later email, because a lot of ppl said FIT do not let us know by email.
@hailey0605 that’s what the admissions representative told me, you might wanna talk to them, if you do let me know what they say.
hi everyone!! I’m so glad that everyone’s sharing their experiences and updating those of us who are eagerly waiting for that letter! I just had a question, what is “COA”? Also, I’m from Virginia and have not received a letter yet. Let’s keep waiting together!! :)))
@Depekachuuuuu COA is Cost of attendance
for those of you who’s COA changed, before it changed, was there a number (other than 0) for “estimated family contribution?”
Yes, the EFC comes straight off your FAFSA, so if you sent your FAFSA to FIT, that number will show up regardless of whether COA has been changed
@stacydessa I’ve just called and they said I will get my letter very soon and an email in 2 weeks:)
Letter and email in two weeks? or letter soon followed with an email in 2 weeks?
@dorozco According to what they said, since I’m an advanced standing freshman, they sent my letter and it will be arrived very soon. But a decision email will be received in 2 weeks.
@hailey0605 where do u live?
Hey! Has any prospective transfer students heard anything yet?
