Nothing in the mail today. Losing hope. Gonna call tomorrow and see if they’ll send me an email
so my little brother applied and hasn’t received an email (besides one saying that he had completed his application all the way back in January) or anything in the mail, i checked his FIT application status and it is just a summary of his application pretty much, how can i know if he got in?
@junebug815 I wouldn’t worry. Call on Wed if you have not received anything. I am outside of NYC too. THe said they mailed mine out on March 29th
is there anyway to check online on my FIT? he lives in westchester, about 30 min from manhattan lol
I called earlier and they said that there was a delay in decisions for the 1- year programs. I am a transfer student from a cuny but they said it should be sent out today or tomorrow
@samocado The only way to find out is waiting for the letter or packet. OR calling and asking them to email the results.

@tizzzyg I am also a transfer from cuny. I applied to the AD program. Hopefully, I get my decision later this week.
@samocado - when you call you need to give them his fit student # it starts with @ and the email. My daughter got in and we were seeing signs on the portal such as she was assigned an FIT email address. go into Online Applications. we were also able to see changes in the financial aid page, and they set up her e-bill and payment page which is done by an outside company so we took it as a sign she was getting in. She ended up calling today bc nothing came in the mail and her friend got in. They emailed the acceptance letter. good luck.

My daughter got in to Communication Design AAS. Live in upstate NY and the envelope was torn apart and placed in a plastic bag by the post office. It was very hard to see the address. Maybe that’s why it was ripped/damaged when we got it. Glad it was good news, but it would have been nice to have it in tact. BTW, her COA changed in mid-February and today it shows Award available in April.
BTW…we set up a private tour on Monday because waiting till April 28 for accepted student day is crazy! Especially when May 1 is decision day!

Has anyone ever gotten in without their COA changing before receiving the letter?
I am a counselor from China. One of my student was admitted to FBM, while my others who applied to fashion design AAS still have not received any information. It might be a bad situation, I guess.

the letter was dated March 23rd and I live near Houston, Texas. My COA updated in February. congratulations to everyone who was accepted, and for those still waiting don’t give up hope!
Hey everyone, I got in ! I called yesterday and asked about my decision and they emailed me about an hour later. My major is Fashion Design. Good luck to all those still awaiting results !
hey guys, congrats to everyone that got in! i called yesterday and gave them my ID number, but they told me that my application is STILL under review 
should i take this as a sign that i most likely didn’t get in? many people that applied for my major already heard back. hope to get some insight on this! thank you!
