Five best college towns

Thanks! :)

Finally, a "rank" I completely agree with!

It doesn't say "best", it says "perfect". :)

Thanks for posting that! I'm driving through Vermont in a couple of weeks and was trying to decide where to spend a little time--looks like Burlington may be the place!

Unfortunately, three of the towns listed are quite expensive (Boulder, Berkeley, and Burlington), which can be a limiting factor in actually enjoying the fruits of said town during college. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a bit more diverse array of locales in the list, with places like Iowa City, Ithaca, and Pittsburgh (a larger city with numerous in close proximity) in the mix. Oh well.

But aren't those places all packed with hippies?!?

;)

What's wrong with hippies? ;)

And I also agree with Lesser Perfesser. They should have made it a Top 10, and included a bit more variety. All of the towns on the list are great, but they all have a very similar feel. More variety, and maybe a few "hidden gems", would have been nice.
