<p>Chance me for UF in particular. Gracias!</p>

<p>So, I did not do too well freshman/sophomore years of high school, but junior year was great. Huge upward trend.</p>

<p>I am white.
I am a girl.
I attend one of the best public schools in central Florida.</p>

<p>UF GPA: 3.92
Rank: 93/636 or top 15%
SAT: 1250/1900
ACT: took it on standby...</p>

<p>AP World = 4
AP American History = 4
AP Lang = 4
AP Euro = 4</p>

<p>Senior Year: 5 AP classes, 2 community college classes, 2 honors</p>

<p>Total of 9 AP classes and all honors classes when available.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: Participated in Interact and STAND all four years. Plus a few clubs here and there. Basically I filled up the extracurriculur section pretty fast. NO leader ship roles though</p>

<p>Community service: Over 500 hours</p>

<p>Awards: AP Scholar with Honor, Principal's Honor Roll, etc</p>

<p>College preparation: Duke Talent Search</p>

<p>Employment: Job shadowing at a law office </p>

<p>Essay: Pretty good (I explain my "passion" for literature/learning)</p>

<p>you seem like you have a good chance for UF. the only thing that might throw you off a bit is your ranking, but your superscore is right in the middle which might even things out for you</p>

<p>Basically you look good for all Florida schools (including UF). However, if you wanna apply to UM you might wanna raise your SAT score to qualify for some scholarships</p>

<p>I honestly think you’re in @ UF, and basically any other Florida school. Lack of leadership might hurt, rank isn’t bad, GPA is high, good course rigor, etc. I think you stand a solid shot :)</p>

<p>anon - a UF GPA of under 4.0 puts you in the bottom 25% of admitted applicants. But the upward trend should really help.</p>

<p>Your SAT puts you in the middle 50%, but UF cares more about GPA. Any news on your ACT scores?</p>

<p>I don’t think you are guaranteed UF admission, but you have better than 50% chance.</p>
