Fluctuation in SAT scores?

First sitting: 740 730 800 (CR M W)
Second sitting: 750 800 690 (CR M W)

Having got 800 on the writing section already, I kind of took that for granted and focussed more on the other two sections.

My super-score is 2350, but my poor writing score 2nd time round means my highest single sitting is 2270... Which score (super or highest single) would colleges give more weight to?

Will colleges take into account the fact that I may have "gone easy" on the writing section because I got an 800 on it the first time?

Thanks in advance

most of colleges would look at CR+M which means as single setting, you better submit your second setting

I’ve alrady sent in all my scores, I’m just wondering.

What about somewhere like Yale, where they explicitly ask for all scores, would they care more about the single-sitting?

i think it really does not matter. your score is already high enough for any ivy college~
