I have recently started to vigorously practice for the 10/14 SAT test date.

My original, real SAT score was a 1860. (550 CR, 620M, 690W)

I took one 2 days ago, and ended up with a 2050. (600CR, 670M, 780W)

I took one just today, and ended up with a 2120. (690 CR, 700M, 730W)

Luck or for real?!

not sure if anyone can truthfully answer your question, but great job! you've sure as heck have come a long way...

now any tips.. i desperately need to increase my 1160(old)

i raised my 1870 to 2090. 2110 practice the week before.

Practice results are very good indicators of the real test.

which practice exams did u guys take? PR or the BlueBook? I am using PR but i have taken two tests and both came out to be 1860 :(

I used the 2004-2005 and the 2006-2007 SAT booklet practice one.

My score for the 2004-2005 Preparation Booklet:
710 M
750 W 45MC

2006-2007 Booklet:
650 W(Superstitious errors)
660s M (Careless errors)

I was too tired when I took the PSAT exam, and I did not take any breaks.
2006-2007 Practice PSAT
610 CR/ +60
590/720 M -80/+50
730 W/ +180
1930/2060

I don't really get your scores.

My real scores,
580 cr 580 wr 780 m
that was last year's
Working on PR and keep getting the around 560-600 for CR, havent focus on writing, but my essay got 9/12 previously, so not much of a worry for essay, just mcq~
1940/2400 for an international, how to boost up my CR????
i was hoping for at least 2100+
unless CR-700, WR-700 .... grrrr

Shadowrider.......what d'u mean by superstitious errors?

Badman89,

I have heard that a % of correct answers in the Writing section are No Error, so I started changing my answers to fit that %. I also saw questions that had C or D 4-5 times in a row, so I changed my answer to break that superstition. :(

I will not do that on the real SAT. A correct answer is a correct answer no matter if all of them are choice D. ;)
