What meal plans would you recommend? 14 meals a week or 20?

20.. Just gives you a lot more flexibility and you can use your credits at other places at night... Check for previous threads.. There have been a lot of these..

As watercannon says, lots of people have asked this question already, but the short answer is that any smaller plan is inefficient.

is 14 really not a good idea? I know myself, I dont think i'll be able to eat 20 meals a week. Arent there times where you'll use the flexipoints instead of using a meal? I just feel like 20 will just be too much. I know it's only a couple hundred more but i'd rather not have so many meals left over at the end of the week.

You're meal credits can be used to buy $4.45 worth of food at Jo's, the Ivy Room, or the Gate at any time during the day, so it is silly not to get the 20-meal plan. Going to these places late in the day and stocking up on whatever you can find is a vital (and fun!) part of freshman-year social life and a great stress-reliever, so there's no doubt that you'll find yourself doing it often enough to be worthwhile...

Any current Brown students able to fill us new frosh in on what's changing with the new meal plan. I heard there were some changes brewing with the UCS.... don't know what they are, fill us in!

No, 14 really is not worth it. You won't eat 20 meals a week, but you'll use the credits.
