Football player goes against stereotypes

IMO Pete Dawkins doesn’t fit because he didn’t go Pro. And Academy grads are a different type to start with.

Richard Sherman, 3.9 grad of Stanford, and did some grad work in his redshirt year.

But my favorite Athlete-Scholar of all time is Moe Berg, who also was a spy for the US during WWII.
