First time ever that the Dartmouth football plays a season without a victory. At least Dartmouth is 2 for 2 on Treasury Secretaries. Tim Geithner '83 will follow Hank Paulson '68.
Go Big Green!!!

Dont call this crappy game football ;]

No, you're 1 for 2 on Treasury Secretaries. Giving Dartmouth a point for Paulson is like giving Yale a point for Bush.

Ivan, if you are alluding to the fact that Dartmouth's soccer team (football in most the world) is the 16th seed in the NCAA tourney, so be it. Dartmouth has a home game in the second round (first round bye) on Tuesday. Should be interesting. 6:00pm game could see snow flurries.

I prefer American football to soccer. (I'm not from the US)

If i get admitted to Dartmouth we will win the ivy league championship ..;]

yea, me for soccer atleast ;)

Redondo, I thought I read in TheD that it was the first season that Dartmouth went winless since ~1983, when we went 0-1.

At any rate, I'm not phased because I didn't attend a single football game. Though I watched some soccer wins.

sneamia are there cheerleaders on the ''soccer'' games ,or just on the ''football'' ones ?

^ LOL, why?

just curious ;]

Ivan, I haven't seen any cheerleaders at the soccer games, but if you're as good at soccer as you say you are, I'm sure you will have no trouble getting girls, cheerleaders and all.

This has become funny, lol.
Ivan, if we both get in, we'll definitely have atleast one game of futsal, besides regular soccer
B-)

1883........

Futsal is kind of fun if we use the rools of the regular ''soccer'' When i was 12 my mum stopped me from ''soccer'' because of poor grades. Now my grades are perfect and my highschool always wins ,but my best friend who is no way better than me plays for the national team under 19 and i only hope i will get admitted to Dartmouth :]

Apologies.

The shame of this is that Dartmouth has a long and proud tradition in football. They had won more Ivy League championships than any other team in the league. The students and the school were quite proud of the team. So what has happened? I am not one who believes it all fell apart when the name was changed from Indians to Big Green (that, of course, is coincidence). I know Coach Teevens has a good grasp of the Dartmouth football tradition having played for the great Coach Bob Blackman. So those in the know, please tell me how Dartmouth football has fallen so far. For us old timers, it is very sad to see.

Looks like any applicants with football talent could get a big boost in admissions this year.

Actually, I think its a really young team. There was really strong recruiting done in the class of 2012, and this will only continue. Teevens just started recently, right? Wait for him to get 4 full recruiting classes in, and things will change.

Regardless, Soccer and Hockey are dominating this year. (we can't win 'em all)

Also, Henry Paulson is definitely a Dartmouth grad.

I'm not too proud of that at the moment, but Geithner looks promising.
