for all college grads how is the job market treating you?

for those of you who have graduated how is life in the real world now socially for you? and how is the job market? has your B.S. degree helped you?

I have heard some people say that the job market is so bad that it has been a year and they can't get a job.

Also I have heard a common problem for college grads is they have to move to a different city and have to leave all there friends that they spent four years making in college and as a result have not social life any more in there new city?

is anyone here having this problem?

above ^^^ damn sorry to hear that things have not improved since 2010

If you majored in the right thing, used your time to develop your skills, and go through recruitment the way it is supposed to be done, then you have no excuse not to find a job.

95% of college grads don’t do crap to get hired when they are in college and then they complain when a job doesn’t land in their laps. So annoying.

^there is SOME truth to that (altho you are over exagerating quite a bit).

However, there a lot of people who “do everything right” and end up with lousy low paying jobs - which in today’s economy is a very real possibility. But lousy job > no job, right?
