For FORMER SUCCESSFUL Applicants of Ivies and Other Top Tier Schools

Did any of you guys fail to submit both SAT IIs and AP Scores?

(Obviously when I say successful, I mean people that ended up getting in)

If you look back at my past threads, you will see why I could not take SAT IIs. I did not submit APs because I could not figure out how to only submit the good ones without submitting all of them and my counselor was of no help. None of the schools required them, but I know they’d like to see them.

I know APs and SAT IIs are just another way for colleges to compare you to other students, but I just had a lot of complications. I’m not here to complain. I’m just wondering if there’s anyone out there (preferably with no hooks).

I know people may say “They’re just going to assume you failed.” I mean while I didn’t fail and actually had (mostly) good scores, I would rather keep them guessing than for them to see certain scores that were really more of a representation of the teacher. I was advised by several counselors and former adcom members not to submit. There was one “bad” score that was completely my fault, but another that was mainly the teacher’s (we all have them sometimes), but I’m obviously not going to blame someone else in my apps, lol.

Anyways, I’m not looking for advice or anything because I’m past the point for submitting these anyway, but just looking for people like me to calm my nerves.

My son was accepted was accepted by Princeton after sending all of his Subject Test scores (740, 780, 790, and 800).
