Assuming that you handle all your work, a procrastinate an "average" amount. What are your averages on weekdays, weekends, etc....and is it work that keeps you up, or more fun stuff?

For me, I always get at least 5 hours of sleep but it's because of fun stuff so the sleep deprivation is on my account. During the weekend I sleep at least 8 hours. I hardly ever stay up late doing homework just because it's my routine to do it during the day. Other people are different, it really depends on you and how you are able to handle yourself.

i usually get like 6-7 but then nap like 3 days a week, and yea, when i do stay up late it's usually doing fun stuff. i have pulled all nighters to write papers, but that's just bc i always wait til the night before a paper's due to start it. i don't think anybody has serious problems getting enough sleep bc of work load, it's when you start adding on all the extra stuff you want to do that makes you sleep-deprived. oh, and PLEEEEASE be honest on your housing form about how much you sleep....if you love sleep and get cranky without it, make sure you emphasize that on your housing form so you won't get put in a hall with people who sleep like, 5 minutes a night.

are either of you on any sports team? I'm just wondering how hard it is to manage sports and HW and still get good sleep. Thanks.

Nope, I'm not.

I get about 7 hours (maybe a little more) of sleep during the weekdays, and 8-9 on weekends, although being a first-semester pre-med sophomore, it probably got knocked down to 6 that semester. It's usually work that keeps me up on the weekdays, but a lot of times it's because I've been procrastinating with other stuff during the day. I don't do any sports though.

Granted, two is a small sample, but how many Pomona students are involved with sports? Is there a jock group on campus and are they pretty well integrated with the rest of the students?

all-nighter master right here. I've probably pulled about 50 during high school- 3 in a week once.

there is no jock group. however the sports teams tend to be very frat-like, which is awesome for morale. i know the XC team parties together like a squadron of tanks, but anyone is welcome to join them.
