My science teacher wrote a recommendation letter for me and was kind enough to show me what he wrote - it is a very strong recommendation (apparently he really likes me), but IMO he is not a good writer. For example, all five sentences start the same way (how great a student I am) and there is no structure and no flow, my question is - does college admission care about how good a writer your recommending teacher is?

No, they care about the message.
