At my school there is a lottery, with different lotteries for each year-- giving older students preference, HOWEVER it is done not by year in school or credits, but by years lived in housing. So even if you are a junior registering for your senior year housing, if you’ve only lived in university housing for a year you are a freshman anyway. So since I was a transfer student I was in the freshman lottery for my senior year housing sign up AND I got a ****ty number. The only reason I was able to get a single was because housing felt I needed one due to my health issues and were willing to set me up with one, but in that case I had no choice in which building I lived in or anything, so it was not without sacrifice.

I usually keep on pajama pants and a shirt, although I sometimes go pantless. I feel weird without a shirt.

Having a single though, I do take off my bra as soon as I’m in the door. I never did that in a double.

I wear the same things I always wear :)
