the 2.3 gpa I had?? How did you know about that!? lol but they won’t look at the upward trend as an imporvement?? And I made up one of my classes in summer school so my gpa is actually higher… but still… ugh

It’s all a guessing game how they select… but the major you select matters too.
You didn’t really say what major you applied for. Some are more impacted than others. You mention you want to become a Doctor, but not sure what you major would be at Davis since they do not offer pre-med.

Is your UC 3.6 GPA weighted (with AP point system), or unweighted (4.0 point system).

Also, were your SAT’s stellar?

My assumption has always been that the more impacted a program, the more stellar your GPA and SATs/ACTs need to be. I know they look at other factors too.

Good luck… you will know on Thursday.

I honestly don’t think anyone can give anyone else’s chances for this year. You should check out the stats of those who were admitted to the other schools. But I think the system is pretty crazy right now, and no one knows exactly how they are admitting the students…

1- My ACT converted is around a 1900 SAT when converted. My actual SAT is way lower than ACT.

2- My GPA is with the extra point for taking AP’s and UC approved honors.

3- My first choice major is Cell Biology

My second choice major is History

Do they really look at 2nd choice major? I have a feeling that if they cant admit you under 1st choice then they just reject you.

I’m curious though as to why everyone is assuming it will be thursday when it came out on the 23rd last year… did berk come out the 23rd last year too and so people are assuming they are always on the same day? or what?
