Curious, the variations people are seeing on their portal pages are meaningless. Your decision will probably arrive by mail tomorrow, and everyone’s portal page will be updated at 12:30 p.m. PDT on Fri. as announced by USC.

I witnessed the same last-minute frenzy 3 years ago when D1 was awaiting her decision. I know everyone is anxious and looking for a sign of some sort, but this will just make you crazy.

Please try to hang in there! I recommend a little ice cream and early to bed!

P.S. You and Ilovemyego23 have brought great spirit to this forum, and I hope you both get the news you’re hoping for!

Oh hey maxmillion. I love you.

I love you, sushisally.

FWIW, it appears USC Connect really dislikes Safari on my iMac, I’m currently running v.10.6.8, and there are error messages for boxes that worked before. However, when I log on with an iPad it all works. Go figure…

Thank you! I hope so too! :)

I got my rejection today in Los Angeles
Not that upset because it was my reach and they did offer the trojan transfer plan which is very appealing…

I had the message “we are acting on your application” and i had errors on my financial aid page

Goodluck to all of you!

I’m in around the South Bay, about 20ish miles from USC and I got accepted!

Rejected in Sacramento today. I got into UCLA last week as well! I’m moving on in life, but deep down, rejection hurts! lol

Hey @curious - have admired your enthusiasm and when results came out today, you were the one name I really wanted to know about, sorry it didn’t work out. But I have to tell you, UCLA is one of the most beautiful campuses (I think it is more awesome than Stanford), in a great neighborhood and full of spirit, which seems perfect for you. I have one at USC now and a S that is in both USC and UCLA. The choice is not a slam dunk for him/us, even with one already at USC because UCLA is so appealing for different reasons. I think this is meant to be and you got the option that will bring you the most happiness. Keep your head up, UCLA is so awesome to get into, there are tens of thousands of people wishing they were you! Good luck!

I am in Orange County and haven’t received any sort of letter, which is quite surprising! Maybe it has something to do with me being a junior and applying for USC’s RHP.

Live in South Orange County (about 1.5 hours away). D got acceptance today to B.A. in Theatre Arts. Anyone back east may be able to view results online before they receive notification via mail. D is over the moon. She did not make it into UCLA Drama and really would have been happy with either school. We did have guarded optimism because she received the School of Drama Open House invitation from USC. So happy for her, and for all of you that got accepted to such wonderful schools!
