<p>I don't understand why I do so poorly in the math sections when I get straight A's in AP math classes. I guess it's because there's limited time and I get confused easily. Any tips for me? I know I have the potential, I just don't understand. lol.</p>
<p>what do you mean by poorly? (ie what type of score do you have in maths now?) do more practice problems to improve on time.</p>
<p>Focus. It is all about the focus. And checking over your work, but if the limited time is your problem you're probably not one of those people who puts their pencil down and stares at the wall for the last 10 minutes of the section.</p>
<p>The SAT doesn't test AP-level stuff...it's more like how well you can apply a combination of lower-level ideas.</p>
<p>Learn to differentiate btwn the nearly correct and the best answer.</p>
