<p>What combination of prep books and/or textbooks would you recommend for self-studying APES? I really need to get a 5, and I prefer not to have to BS my answers :).</p>

<p>first things first; no matter the amount of prep you do, bsing will always be required. The real question should be which prep books allow me to bs the best? and for that, i would answer a combo of the barrons and smartypants guide. I also used the princeton review, but that was less comprehensive, so if u have the time use the barrons. you probably don’t even need the smartypants guide… i just used it to review the night before the test 
good luck though; i thought the material covered was interesting, so studying was never too bad</p>
