My best friend finished high school in 2020 and applied to a bunch of US universities, intending to go on fall 2021. However due to financial problems from covid he couldn’t ultimately go and had to take a gap year. He is set on going to the US, would he have to apply again on 2021? How would it work since he already finished high school?
