@mattm12334 They told me the same thing, did you receive transfer credit yet? I got mine and it wasn’t super impressive, but ill still go to Fordham if they give me enough Fin Aid.
@Spdomx Yes, i did. all my credits will transfer over. do you know how financial aid is for transfer students? Hoping i get a package that makes it affordable to go.
@mattm12334 All my credits transfer but not all of them are actually able to satisfy parts of the core curriculum, I heard fin aid at fordham was pretty good but I guess it’s up to them to decide how much to give us in grant aid.
@Spdomx nice. how do you know which credits go towards core?
@mattm12334 Go to degreeworks under the student tab in my.fordham, it gives you a list of what core requirements need to be filled or have been filled. All I got filled with my 33 transferable credits was Eloquentia Perfecta 1, Composition II, Life Science, and the Social Science categories. This is less than Syracuse and Umass are offering me. That means I’ll probably have to take a lot more classes, but I guess I really want to go here so IDK.

I got my award last night. At around 7 I checked and there was a new “Awards” tab but
I didn’t receive an email. I was expecting a little bit better aid but it also wasn’t bad, I should be able to afford it.

I think I’m just gonna deposit and then get a refund if its not enough
yours may take a while than. I would call them on monday to see what the deal is with that. I got my decisions 3 weeks ago from today and still haven’t received my award. Call them today and they didnt even review my application. They said they were going to today and that it may take a week or two. my deposit deadline is dec. 15 @a20171
Just got accepted to LC!!!
I submitted my FAFSA October 30th and just submitted my CSS tonight… dumb thing to overlook, I know. When I called the financial aid office today, though, they said they didn’t have my FAFSA on file…? I don’t think the CSS being late will affect anything, but it’s really odd they have no record of the FAFSA even after I confirmed it was sent to the school through the website. Any thoughts?
@danamajew The same thing happened when I first visited the fin aid website, I just had to wait like a week before they figured everything out.
@mattm12334 my deposit deadline is december 15th too but I want to fill out the housing form and fordham is the only school i applied too

Did you guys get admitted with housing too? I finished the form after I made my deposit and they told me they would send out assignment info in late December, I think the only places transfers are housed at RH is off campus.
@Spdomx I got admitted with housing and yeah i think its most likely transfer students get housing. THeres still a chance you could get on campus
